FOOD AND BEVERAGES

FOOD & BEVERAGES

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN FOOD AND BEVERAGES
There is no food or beverages provided by the retreat. You must bring your own. If you forget something there are a few small stores with limited supplies located nearby at the local resorts. Coulee City is a 10-mile drive north of the park.

Alcoholic drinks are permitted for those 21+. Please drink responsibly.

The kitchen is a fully-stocked commercial kitchen with all cooking utensils, pots, pans, dishes, silverware, etc. There is a large walk-in refrigerator and a separate freezer. There is an ice maker and a microwave in the kitchen.

There are shelves in the walk-in refrigerator to store your food. Consider using a box or bag to keep your items organized and separate from others. Storing your food in a personal cooler within the walk-in refrigerator is a popular option. There are cupboards available in the kitchen to store your dry, non-refrigerated food.

COFFEE
There is a large commercial coffee brewer. If you want to partake in the group coffee option, please consider bringing a lb. of ground coffee to contribute. You can also bring your own personal coffee maker, such as a stove-top brewer or pour-over system. Click here for a full list of kitchen equipment.

DON'T FORGET THESE ITEMS
Commonly forgotten items include cooking oil, salt & pepper, paper towels, and a dishtowel. Dish towels, sponges, and dish soap are not provided by the camp. Please bring your own and consider donating a bottle of dish soap and a sponge to the kitchen.

STAY HYDRATED
The tap water is potable and safe for consumption.

The high desert is a dry and hot environment. Combine that with physical activity and it's easy to get dehydrated quickly. Bring a reusable water bottle and drink plenty of water throughout the day.
